Scalp Micro Pigmentation (SMP)
Scalp micro pigmentation is a process of hair restoration in which tiny dots of permanent ink are placed into the dermal layer of the scalp, to replicate the look of natural human hair follicles. SMP is a good alternative for patients that have low hair density and their scalps are easily visible. With the pigments deposited into the skin, the scalp acquires a ‘color’ that decreases the hair-skin contrast. This results in a more visible and denser hair appearance.
